Welcome
to the Official Website of the Ealdormere College of Heralds. The College is
comprised of the warranted heralds and pursuivants within the Kingdom of Ealdormere
(encompassing most of the Province of Ontario, Canada) in the Society For Creative
Anachronism, under the guidence of the Trillium Principal Herald and their Staff.

The "white" version of the Trillium Herald's seal may only be worn
and/or displayed by the Trillium Principal Herald
(usage defined by prededents of Erick of Longacres, Trillium Principal
Herald AS XXXVIII)
The "red" version of the Trillium Herald's seal may be worn and/or
displayed by a Senior staff member of the Ealdormere College of Heralds -
this includes the Trillium Herald's Titled staff, Baronial pursuivants and
Heralds-At-Large (capital "H" heralds)
(usage defined by prededents of Erick of Longacres, Trillium Principal
Herald AS XXXVIII)
The "counterchanged" version of the Trillium Herald's seal may be
worn and/or displayed by Trillium Emeritus Herald or Pursuivant. The title
Trillium Emeritus being granted to any individual who has sat a term of office
as the Trillium Principal Herald of Ealdormere either as a Kingdom, Principality
or Territory.

The "green" version of the Trillium Herald's seal may be worn and/or
displayed by any herald, pursuivant or macer within the Ealdormere College
of Heralds. This includes any and all heralds of any rank as may be covered
by any of the other prescribed usages of the Trillium seal.

The "black" or "Erick" version of the Trillium Herald's
seal is, by permission of Percival de la Rocque, Trillium Principal Herald
(AS XLI) granted for the personal and exclusive use of Master Erick of Longacres,
Black Mantle Herald Extraordinary. This version of the Trillium seal to be
his to use and wear/display in a heraldically proper manner as he sees fit
as a personal badge and a mark of his esteemed rank and the high honour he
is held in by this office.

The generic Crossed Trumpets (Society-wide emblem of heralds) may be worn
and/or displayed by any member of the College of Heralds or any person acting
as an event herald
(usage defined by Society-wide tradition)

The arms of Ealdormere may only be worn and/or displayed by members of the
immediate Royal family or the Trillium Principal Herald. Those acting as the
official court herald for Their Majesties may wear the arms but only during
court.
(usage defined by Kingdom law I-402 "The arms of the Kingdom may
be displayed by the Crown and by the Kingdom Herald when acting as Their representative
or by others with the Crown's consent. The arms of the Kingdom may be displayed
with a label, in the same manner, by the Heirs".)

The arms of any offical group within Ealdormere (those which incorporate the
laurel wreath) may only be worn/displayed by the landed Baron/Barroness (if
applicable), the Crown and the appropriate warranted local pursuivant. Those
acting as the official court herald for Their Excellencies may wear the arms
of the Barony, but only during court.

Ealdormere's Trillium Signet may wear the Signet Badge
(usage defined by prededents of Erick of Longacres, Trillium Principal
