Each of the articles contained on the Ealdormere College of Heralds website is written by a hard-working volunteer. The biographies, below, are included to recognize their efforts. ECoH
Here are the biographies of the various authors of articles included on the Ealdormere College of Heralds web site:
Master Brand Thorwaldson (Blair Wettlaufer)
Brand Thorwaldsen is a fourteenth century German, and is now a first century Ealdormerean. He has been known to be a Herald, Squire, Seneschal, and is one of those easygoing fellows that just has to keep busy.
Blair Wettlaufer owns his own collection agency, and deals with contract law, credit, bankruptcy, mortgages, fraud, court actions, credit bureaus, and other such unpleasant things which require him to be an easygoing fellow on weekends.

Mistress Marion of Heatherdale (Heather Dale)
Marian of Heatherdale is a Scottish alliance bride, sent to marry a disinterested French nobleman during the Scottish war against the usurper Edward Longshanks. She has adapted well to a new life filled with love-struck troubadours, fine wine and pleasant continental weather. She served Ealdormere as Principality Trillium Herald in 1996-97.
Heather Dale is a professional recording artist, whose music is inspired by ancient legends and life. For sound clips from Heather's recordings, along with her original re-tellings of the King Arthur legends, drop by www.HeatherDale.com.

Master Erick of Longacres (David Carswell)
Erick of Longacres is a thirteenth century Northumbrian. He has been a travelling beaurocrat most of his life having served as a seneschal, an exchequer, a scribe and, of course, a herald (at the Coronation of Aaron & Rustique (2006) Erick was made a Herald Extraordinary and has the title of Black Mantle Herald Extraordinary). Erick served as Trillium Principal Herald from 2003 to 2005. He has also been known to pick up a bow or a sword when the situation called for it.
David Carswell is a Facilities Manager, having worked in the computer and ISP industries as well as broadcast television. He is also a sound engineer, musicologist, web designer and trivia fanatic. webhome.idirect.com/~dcarswell/OWD

Baroness Tesla de Chardon (Jewel McCulloch)
Tesla de Chardon is a thirteenth century expatriate Scot living in France. She has made quite a name for herself as an illuminator and calligrapher, as well as her talents in needlework, wood carving and construction, leatherwork and as seamstress.
Jewel McCulloch is a graphic artist and has worked as an administrative assistant and retail clerk. The SCA has provided her with an outlet for her various arts and crafts hobbies without filling her house with the fruits of her labours...(well at least in theory, anyways) jewelink.ca

THL Arwyn of Leicester (Stephanie Mortenson)
Arwyn of Leicester is a part Saxon and Viking living in Danelaw around 1000AD. She is a self-declared service junkie. Along with being a past Trillium Herald, you may find her being a warranted heavy fighter, a heavy weapons marshal of the field, Ben Dunfirth Exchequer, a cook and many other things.
Stephanie Mortenson is a chemical engineer who now works in production or engineering management. She has worked in a variety of manufacturing environments including rubber, chewing gum base, food emulifers, plastic injection moulding and candy. When not playing in the SCA, Stephanie enjoys recording music with her husband, Jeff - a non-scadian.

THL Percival de la Rocque (Keith Crawley)
Percival de la Rocque is a Renaissance Fair refugee who came to the SCA seeking a place to get a fix of medieval over the long winter months and has been into heraldry to varied degrees since before even knowing about the SCA. He enjoys the peaceful arts for the most part and doing service as and when he sees the need.
Keith Crawley is a 50 something father of 3 grown children and works in the public service sector. With is wife Carole (Christiana in the SCA) they spend most of their leisure hours muddling thru SCA events, Renaissance Fairs and Celtic Music festivals and highland games.
