The Ladies and gentlemen,
I hope this letter finds you all well. I am sending this introductory package
out to you as a communication to the College at large, as well as outline
some of the plans of myself and the senior staff of the College for the next
while. This is a tradition that I appreciated from the days of the former
Trillium Herald, Artair MacArtair – something I feel very strongly about
is communication, as I appreciate the sense of community that the College
of Heralds have with each other, and I look forward to involving that community
in a number of projects that if completed, will make our kingdom a better
place.
Thanks to Percival
First off, I would like to thank Percival de la Rocque for all his hard work – he has maintained and grown the College beyond what Erick handed to him, and I am very much looking forward to working with a pleasantly large group of experienced heralds! Not a pleasure some Trililum Heralds have had in the past.
Our change over of the Kingdom Herald office was a bit ahead of schedule due to the Crown and the Barony of Septentria selecting good Percival and his lady Christiana as the new Baron and Baroness of said barony, so I’m a little out of step on what I want to have happen in the next few months, but please bear with me as I get up to speed.
For those of you who have not worked with me before, I promise you a great deal of enthusiasm and energy, as well as an open ear – if you have any suggestions, concerns, or ideas, I would love to hear from you! Please feel free to email me, call me on the telephone (any time up to 11 pm is civil in my house), or try to catch me at an event.
And now, on to the business of the College!
